I have the same problem--the mouse doesn't work under kernel 2.4. Are there
any solution for that? I need 2.4 for some software to work--labview 7.0 for example.

Just find the latest FC1 kernel and install it (rpm -ivh --oldpackage).
The only thing that is at all difficult is getting the mouse to work as
2.6 tends to use /dev/input/mice which doesn't work in 2.4.

You have the change /dev/input/mice to /dev/psaux in order for the mouse to work in the xorg.conf file.

It works for me with an upgraded FC1 to FC2 system. Also, you need to change it back when you want to switch back to a 2.6 kernel.
