High availability, load sharing and clustering

Hi everybody,

Am am trying to setup a server cluster using the ultramonkey. It's a bundle
of open-source solutions and contains heartbeat for failover, redundancy and
virtual IP management as well as ldirectord for load balancing and pooling.
It works pretty well, but sometimes I get some weird problems like
ldirectord shutting down after receiving an XCPU signal or heartbeat
detecting dead ping groups for no reason...

What are you guys using? Anything out there that's better/more
reliable/different that you prefer, and if so why do you prefer it?

Thanks,

MARK
