As a one time SUSE user myself, I can say that I like certain things about it. So far, Fedora seems nice. I bought a book called the Red Hat, Fedora Linux 2 Bible. It's large and in charge. I've been thinking about using Linux on older hardware, which xfce4 will give me the ability to do. KDE would not, so I'm investigating this. Update your RPMs off of Dag or Livna, get the mp3 support rolling and switch all the way over. One word of advice. Copy your entire /etc directory and keep it. Don't use it wholesale, but in a few places, YasT is better than the Red HAt tools. You might be able to save yourself some frustration by having a working config file. --andy On Fri, 2004-07-30 at 18:17, M.
