Hi!
I leave my FC2 machine on at night and after about 8 hours of inactivity
it starts some insane hardisk activity. This activity takes about one hour
to complete and the PC is extremely little responsive while it is doing
it. At the end of this activity, all my applications are closed down and I
am logged out.
I wonder what this could be and how necessary it is?
I know RH9 used to do an updatedb and some other things at 4 a.m., but
this happens arround 6 or 7 a.m. and it takes soooo awfully long and it
logs me out.
Any ideas what it can be?
