Just connected a memory stick from Medion to my router with USB 1.1 ports.
The hardware is recognized an Sunplus Technology but it not recognized as memory mass storage device. It is just out of the box (my son's birthday present....).
Any hint???

Post the output of /var/log/messages (not all of it ofcourse - just the bits relating to the device) after plugging it in so people on this list can have a look, but be aware some devices simply aren't supported in Linux.

Ed.
