is there a point to the occasional posting of a bunch of (admittedly perhaps useful but) unsolicited advice? particularly when it contains clearly broken links like:
http://people.redhat.com/arjanv/2.6/RPMS. kernel/
or simple pointers to fedora-based web sites for no particular reason?
Try the Fedora Forum:
http://www.fedoraforum.org/
or thoroughly generic advice to use google:
Try Google:
http://www.google.com/ -or- http://www.google.com/linux
or ironic advice regarding netiquette:
The first is Netiquette:
-Don't top-post. Please put your reply *below* the reply of the person that posted before you. -Cut irrelevant text from the post before yours. It's polite to indicate this in some way. -Don't post in HTML, use plain text as some folks' mail readers don't read HTML format....
how about: don't post lengthy answers to unasked questions. if you've got this much to say, get a web page, ok?
cynically and suspiciously yours, rday
