experiences with SHFS?

Hi all,

I've been playing around with shfs (http://shfs.sourceforge.net/) with 
SSH public keys as a simple firewall-friendly replacement for NFS, over 
both local networks and DSL-linked VPNs - and it seems to work well so far.

Does anyone have experiences to share (good or bad) about using shfs on 
production systems? Has it proven reliable?

Any chance we'll see this added to FC?
