Multicast is a great idea to let you 'tune in' things like a radio, and it costs the same in bandwidth for one client or several thousands. To make things even sweeter, I'm sitting on a multicast ISP who does system maintenance via multicast, the first one I've ever seen. But don't look for any Linux support for it, Fedora or otherwise. There are howtos that are in excess of 10 years old, a couple of people you'll meet that actually _know_ all about it for some reason, and one piece of software older than Quake I that can make use of it, and you'll find no multicast clients anywhere. It's a shame; multicast is a brilliant idea for the kinds of things like internet radio, but not everone supports it....apparently nor does Linux.
