-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 It would appear that on Jul 18, Rob Brown-Bayliss did say: > I have just changed my screen saver to a blank screen, it was an OGL > screen saver so lets see. Well I hope that works for you. In my case I found I could let power management do the screen blanking with the old kernel, just as long as the screen saver was completely disabled. And I'm not at all sure that all the screen savers I had the problem with were actually OGL... Funny thing is, while I can't really prove it, I suspect that when I let yum update my system, (including installing the vmlinuz-2.6.6-1.435 kernel), some of the screen savers appear to have been removed? At least I couldn't find some of the ones I had used previously, Though to be honest I hadn't paid any attention to their names, I simply kept trying one after another till I found one I liked... (and now memory fades so that I'm not sure I'd recognize them if I saw them) - -- | --- ___ | <0> <-> Joe (theWordy) Philbrook | ^ J(tWdy)P | ~\___/~ <<jtwdyp@xxxxxxxx>> ############################################################## # You can find my public gpg key at http://pgpkeys.mit.edu/ # ############################################################## -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFA+oi4RZ/61mwhY94RAhXQAKDKCrvAL9dChB0x1ECZA65jpWTsKQCeMgSu PzEskfOkx8tvzrOrUJm6V/8= =xrs0 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
