I likewise have an nforce2 motherboard, a Shuttle AN35-N-Ultra ( 400 ). I have been using the Fedora kernel-2.6.6 without any problems. I have had a lot of problems with the kernel-2.6.7 ( such as no USB and no ethernet ). So I would avoid arjanv 2.6.7 kernel.
