The fight to give up MS has been a 4 year battle with me. But today, another minor victory. Last year I moved to almost all Internet stuff on the Linux computer. Just about all web browsing and all e-mail was on the Fedora Core 1 computer. But I had to use the MS box for printing and game playing. My printer, a Samsung ML1450, is plugged into a Hawking PN7127P mini print server. All my windows computers can print to it, but I have never been able to get my Linux computer to print to it. All the walk troughs I found failed. And I could never get the Java plug-in to work right in Mozilla. Over the weekend I did a fresh install with Fedora Core 2. For the first time, the Java install and Mozilla Java plug-in worked like it should and I can see Java content. And today, for the first time, I was able to print to my printer. Which makes Linux much more useful and brings me one step closer to being able to leave Windows behind. Now I have to tackle Wine so I can play Heroes of Might and Magic IV om my Linux computer. Devin
