No, its smtg wrong with KPPP and/or dhcp. If i use the "Network Device Configuration" to dial-up then everything works ok ... i signaled this "bug" already, but noone answered to it .... So until someone does ... we wait.

I don't know what automagic means but kppp overwrites your resolv.conf
file when it connects. Sounds that you don't have the dens servers
properly configured in kppp. Since it is overwriting they must be
defined in the kppp configuration.
