After 6 frustrating hours panicking because a near production ready system was not working, I found the solution through some arcane website pages that I luckily stumbled across. It appears as though Fedora documentation and troubleshooting is not the highest on the food chain, but I do appreciate the help I did receive from people on this mailing list. What ticks me off is that after almost ~9 years (rough guess) of Redhat Linux RPM's being around that their isn't better documentation of how to fix the RPM system if it goes down.

It can be frustrating, I know..

What that error seems to be saying is that you have a bad package
installed.. go back and remove those packages that were installed prior
to this message, and reinstall or barring that update the package.

Remember, That with any computer system, there are bound to be troubles.
Not all are from the software, but some are in the intrinsic differences
of each particular hardware, package setup.
No documentation project could ever hope to cover all the what-ifs
that can occur. Thats why we are lucky to live in a world with google.

Also please note that the documentation for FC clearly states
that it is not production quality.

Heres a thread I found that surely have some significance
for your problem..

Thanks.
