Without the update the order of the probed modules were "random", more
precicely depended on the directory entry order. So, some were lucky
and had /updates/ search before the rest, and other were not. You seem
to have been "lucky" wrt the search order. Too bad the module still
refuses to work. I hope the rpms will help.
