I'm not sure if this is a KDE or kernel or <other> issue How do I prevent a cd from being mounted and Konq firing up when one is is inserted ? That being asked lets ask another. After using a cd and stopping the konq that was initiated when it was inserted I was unable to unmount/eject it. was told it was in use. this is not good .
