Dear friend,

You can also try xcdroaster. Download the RPM for Fedora Core to the
/usr/local directory, install it in the usual way (rpm -ivh
<xcdroast(version)>.

Albeit it isn't the Fedora Core 2 default CD burner app., it has a clean
interface and works pretty well.
