I upgraded to the latest Fedora Core 2 kernel 2.6.6-1.435 and now I can't seem to use my network connection. With the 2.6.6-1.435 kernel my e100 card does not seem to work. I can not even ping my gateway. When I reboot and use the 2.6.5-1.358 kernel, my network connection works fine.

What does ifconfig -a tell you? Are there any errors displayed when booting?

Also, what does /etc/modprobe.conf says about the module to load? Have you tried switching to eepro100 module?

Is the module e100 loaded (/sbin/lsmod)?
