I am pleased with your very positive experience of
Fedora Linux. I believe in diversity of supply of OS
and I am amazed at the quality and range of
applications for this platform. I can do far more with
my PC and (Fedora) Linux and the money I have
available than with Windows.
However, the fact that you have not experienced
any problems with Fedora bears no relation to the fact
that a number of other people HAVE experienced
problems with Fedora - or problems with packages /
applications distributed within Fedora.
Linux / GNU attempts to support a fantastic range
of devices - and there will always be some untested
combination that trips up the system. However, there
will almost always be someone prepared to give
his/her time to diagnose and fix the fault.
