FC2 quotacheck problem

   I just installed CPanel on FC2 box, once CPanel runs quotacheck, It
consumes 97% from the CPU and machine turns unusable.
R there any idea about why quotacheck consumes all of this CPU, Does it
misbehave?
If yes, r there any workaround this misbehaviour?
