Question about unicode and euro sign

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

I am using fedora core 1, with all the updates, and my desktop is
gnome. In vim and gnome-terminal, I can type in most accented and
other characters without a problem, by using the CTRL+SHIFT+unicode
character number. However, when I type ctrl+shift+2+0+a+c for the euro
symbol, I get instead a capital I with a caret sign above it, like
this:

È

However, if I use gedit, I can get the euro sign. Has anyone else
experienced this? And if so, any solution?
