Check out my problem, it *might* be the same as yours even though we have different chipsets: http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-list/2004-June/msg02884.html Here are a few things you might try to isolate the problem: 1) Are you able hear audio CDs that you play in your computer? (I can) 2) If you run "alsamixer" on the command line, what is your "PCM" volume set to? If it's set to 0 and not muted, then are you able to set it to a value > 0? (I can't) Best luck, Christian
