I didn't try the plugin. just 'realplay file.rm' - and it worked.
By the way, xine, needs the cook.so of RealPlayer9, if Realpayer 10 in installed only, xine complains for the cook.so.6
You could extract the codecs from realplayer 9 and place them in /usr/lib/win32. I haven't tried mplayer/xine on FC2 yet.. (just FC1)
