Aha... I have seen this, in fact I made a bugzilla for it:

Dennis Gilmore deserves the kudos for finding this solution:

His fix also works for me, and I found that the HTML links can be 
fixed too by 
 
 - Settings | Configure Konqueror 
 - File Associations 
 - type html in the box 
 - open the text node and click html (this is pretty clunky this 
property page - don't press Enter either or it closes the dialog) 
 - Embedding tab 
 - select "Show file in embedded viewer' 
 - OK 


Ngo Than took note of the bug and asked for more details how to repro it but 
as I have no idea how it got into that state I have not been any further 
help.
