Its pretty clear that FC1 supports SMP.  Don't know how many processors
but early versions of the SMP kernel apparently had problems with NFS.
I will try when I get home on my Via motherboard with dual pIII 1.0GHZ.
Hope it does not kill my XP install.  I plan to go just far enough to
see an SMP offer.
