What kind of board do you have? I have a Gigabyte IPE8000PRO2 and

for your chipset. This is where having Fedora developers looking at the
list would be great.
Yes I agree, it definitely would seem as if there
is no support for the sata chipset on my board K8V, we can only hope that one of
the more experienced users and developers will see the post and look into
it.
