Why does this happen?
Maybe because the apps are gnome apps or the icons have
been changed... Either way you can grab the crystal icon
set from http://www.kde-look.org/ and install it.

The entries on the menu always should look with the icons of the theme
that you have selected on kde, but only three icons of the menu are
"crystal", the others are gnome icons. I don't understan why :(
