The package libogg-devel-1.1-2.1 as distributed with FC-2 doesn't contain the file libogg.la; in fact the spec file has been edited to not install libogg.la . The lack of this file prevents xine-lib from compiling. When I rebuilt libogg-devel to contain libogg.la, xine-lib compiles and runs OK. Does anyone know why libogg.la has been removed from libogg-devel? Thanks - Jonathan Ryshpan
