xmodmap problem after upgrade FC1 -> FC2

After my upgrade the xmodmap command in ~/.xinitrc:

xmodmap -e "pointer = 3 2 1"

to make my mouse lefthanded doesn't work anymore. Is this a known
issue? I couldn't find anything about it in the archives...
