I hope I am not hijacking this thread. I am using SSH file transfer successfully on FC1. I am concerned that in order to support SSH file transfer, I also have to open up SSH terminal access. I do not want to do this but they both use port 22. Is there a way to support SSH based file transfer but not allow SSH remote terminal sessions? -----Original Message----- From: fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of slim Sent: Friday, May 21, 2004 10:33 AM To: For users of Fedora Core releases Subject: Re: ftp via ssh2 not working with fc2 here is some more info, I installed winscp3 on the xp box and am able to sftp in fine to all boxes, just not with cute any longer.. strange, it worked with rh9, just broke in fc1 and fc2 thanks > > > -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
