Hi All, I have unofficial 2.6.6 Fedora Core 2 kernel packages available. These include the 2.6.6 kernel, of course, as well as unstable device-mapper patches from http://people.sistina.com/~thornber/patches/2.6-unstable/. The device-mapper patches allow for LVM2 snapshots, which I like lots. Please keep in mind that you shouldn't trust your mission-critical data with this unstable code unless you first pray to a nearby voodoo doll. While I've tested LVM2 snapshots myself, that doesn't mean that LVM2 snapshots or the rest of the kernel code is good. Be responsible! :) Updated source and binary packages are available for download at: ftp://bagel.express.org/fedora/core2-packages/kernel/ kernel-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.src.rpm kernel-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i586.rpm kernel-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i686.rpm kernel-debuginfo-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i586.rpm kernel-debuginfo-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i686.rpm kernel-smp-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i586.rpm kernel-smp-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i686.rpm GPG-signed MD5 signatures (wrl:at:express.org) on the packages to follow: -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 cceade8fa561921c35fe578c213c9f87 kernel-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i586.rpm 05f1a474acea888be4e39ba71b2c8154 kernel-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i686.rpm f0d308670c288c9b3c145ee773ccb5f7 kernel-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.src.rpm 29e1a6196693946cbe0350edb3ebefde kernel-debuginfo-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i586.rpm f47c1a8f06399794e4b9e7a6e4c65962 kernel-debuginfo-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i686.rpm d40cf8a26931d29519ae0948b7575af2 kernel-smp-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i586.rpm 53aac15e803e00be7ef16ea8ffcc3ea5 kernel-smp-2.6.6-2.dm.wrl.i686.rpm -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAq4haW3nf2pKDRDYRAhXCAKCszcAe8qJkbKa4CZ56WfYqfVj+KQCcDgKH ZDqKLtzIaiNqr+/jWBvoC00= =Vu4l -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- _ __ __ ___ _| | William R.
