I am finally coming out of the dinosaur age and have aquired a cd/rw. Googling for burning software brings an overwhelming amount of various clients. I am looking for input on an easy to use program that will burn and rip. Any comments, tips or advice will be most welcome.

K3b is my favorite for burning. For ripping, I recommend Grip.
I find the most painfull thing to get done is creating audio cd's from MP3's.
Right now, I use the wav output plugin in xmms, then burn the wav's to cd using cdrecord.
