Would you mind sending me your binary RPM via email? As I tried to
compile gtkmm as you suggested, it complained /usr/bin/sgml2html was
missing. I googled around and found it to be provided by linuxdoc-tools.
However, installation of it would force me to install tetex as well --
38MB! Yikes! ={
