Hi!
Is it possible to use yum to install an rpm which is located locally and have its dependencies resolved and installed from a remote repository?
Carlos
Yes, the dependencies will be resolved across different repositories. That's i.e. the case using fedora.us together with rpm.livna.org

The problem is I don't know (at least I didn't find any reference to this) how to install a local rpm with yum. I wanted to install a package foo-x.x.x-x.i386.rpm which is not part of any repository and resolve the dependencies automatically.
