As far as this particular issue, though, Fred has consistently committed the most basic newbie mistake. He provides no useful information about the issue, just "it doesn't work". No brand of sound card. No error messages. Nothing. He is troubleshooting the issue as a Windows insider (call his contacts) instead of providing information so that the community can help. -- William Hooper
