-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi folks - I have made a small GPLd bash scipt which sets up a Fedora box to automate docking and transfer for USB Storage Class cameras. It pops up a Konqueror window on connect, mounts, transfers the pictures to a selected directory, deletes them on the camera and umounts all just from being plugged in. The Konqueror window shows previews of the images. It is taught which cameras to do this for again just by plugging in the device, so the script can learn its ID. You can find some more information and the script itself at http://warmcat.com/usbautocam/ It has been tested on several KDE machines here, but it should work on Gnome machines or without X at all. It works fine for my machines and my cameras, I doubt that innoculates it against trouble for everyone else's setups, so please let me know your experiences by email. - -Andy - -- Find your answer without waiting for replies....
