you can also use knoppix to find out, it does a fine job for me when I'm
stuck like that. Also, I've you've got an old copy of Windows 98 banging
around you might try it at last resort to find out the IRQ and IO port

You have to know which resources the ISA card uses to be able to pass
them - IRQ and IO - as parameter to the ethernet device module. Maybe
run the DOS tool by 3Com to find out the values and maybe set them. In
addition use motherboard BIOS to set an IRQ for ISA usage for the NIC.
