the instructions will walk you through installing apt and then synaptic (which is a gui frontend to apt).
I think ignore the previous post - have managed to answer both questions I think :)
Found the freshrpms key and got that set up and installs for some freshrpms
packages work fine now. Have another quick question though...when synaptic
downloads the rpms, does it keep a copy around on disk somewhere?
