If the same sendmail config ran on another box on the same network and if the Linksys config has not been changed other than the IP address to forward port 25 to then in theory the problem is not the Linksys, the cable modem, or the ISP. I previously suggested conducting tests on another box, i.e., simply change the port forwarding to a different machine with an SMTP MTA listening on port 25. If it works then the problem has something to do with the Fedora box (sendmail/iptables, MAC address, etc.). If it doesn't work then the problem has nothing to do with the Fedora box and we can look at the Linksys etc. An obvious question is what (else) has changed, other than the OS version, since the RH 7.3 box was working on the same network.
