Jesus people, all he did was ask for people to participate in the survey if they wanted to. He didn't ask for personal and political opinions of the method of the servey. If you aren't interested, simply say nothing at all, don't whine about the format and give feedback about what is in your opinion a better method. If you are interested in completing the survey then there should be no problem in sending him the completed servey. Perhaps creating an online survey it more trouble then it is worth, maybe he has no public webspace, database or the like, this is most likely the most convenient method for him and fits into his existing mechanisms for his work. Stop being so chauvinist and rude. People like you are what slows the addoption of linux and other worthwhile endevours.
