When you have S.M.A.R.T. enabled in the BIOS. And when you boot your system,
the BIOS will output, that S.M.A.R.T. is enabled on Segate ... Drive (When you
don't see that message, then the drive doesn't have that ability). That will
tell you whether the drives you have, have S.M.A.R.T technology built into
them or not.
