SMB connection failed However in a terminal it mounts, here is the line from my fstab maybe I have missed something. //chadwin/music /home/chadley/mnt/tmp smbfs rw,username=chadley,noauto,user I also tried with the credentials option as follows: //chadwin/music /home/chadley/mnt/tmp smbfs rw,credentials=/home/chadley/.pwd/pwd,noauto,user and get the same error. As you can see I put the mount point in my home dir and I have checked the owner and is me! It think its going to be a long night. Thanks for all the help so far Chad
