I've tried various selections during text-mode installation, but none have worked so far. I also tried manually inserting "1680x1050" into the XF86Config file, but that didn't help. Any help would be appreciated.you don't mention what kind of video card you have. My /etc/X11/XF86Config file was almost identical to yours. I made some changes, but it's still not working.i have an 8100 with an nvidia geforce 2 go card, and i'm running FC 1, with the 1600x1200 LCD display. in fact, i don't even have the nvidia module loaded. when i installed FC 1, apparently, the "nv" driver worked just fine, and i have no overwhelming need to mess with it. i don't do high-speed games or anything, so i'm happy so far. i'm sure at some point i'll load the nvidia module but, for now, it ain't broke. anyway, here's my /etc/X11/XF86Config file, which works just peachy. -------------------------------------------------- This transmission contains information intended to be confidential and solely for the use of Value Line, Inc., and those persons or entities to whom it is directed.
