Ok i run the first command: up2date-nox -i -f kernel kernel-source But it asked me to use rpm --import /usr/share/rhn/GPG... to import the RHN public key. I did it successfully (I checked with rpm -qa gpg*) but it continues to prompt me for the same import. I can maybe use --nosig with up2date but that seems strange.. > -----Original Message----- > From: Alexander Dalloz [mailto:alexander.dalloz@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Sunday, March 14, 2004 6:36 PM > To: pierre.deboeck@xxxxxxxxx; For users of Fedora Core releases > Subject: Re: up2date > > > Am So, den 14.03.2004 schrieb Pierre De Boeck um 18:05: > > Hi all, > > > > I just have installed FC1 and I can run only in level 3 for the moment. > > What I want is to perform a complete up2date (including kernel and > > kernel-source) > > but I would like to know the right procedure to do that from > the CLI, namely > > what up2date options I shoud use? > > up2date-nox -u > --> for normal update process > > up2date-nox -i -f kernel kernel-source > --> forcing installation of newer kernel image and kernel source > > Alexander > > > -- > Alexander Dalloz | Enger, Germany | GPG key 1024D/ED695653 1999-07-13 > Fedora GNU/Linux Core 1 (Yarrow) on Athlon CPU kernel 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl > Sirendipity 18:34:37 up 5 days, 18:53, load average: 0.01, 0.08, 0.11 > [ ÎÎÏÎÎ Ï'ÎÏÏÎÎ - gnothi seauton ] > my life is a planetarium - and you are the stars > >
