I suppose it could be. It's a weird error, and occurs whether I'm running
the standard kernel or the SMP kernel.

I am running FC2Test1 on a P4HT box. Why do I see en error saying
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/....no such file or directory when I
boot? I
know it's not the right list for this, but has anyone else seen this
issue
with the HT P4's?
Would you say it's related to cpuspeed?
It is very close to what I was having, which I fixed easily enough by
editing
/etc/cpuspeed.conf
and changing
DRIVER="p4-clockmod"
Good luck!
