This question is totally off-topic (sorry), but I have a question for any UK
dsl users:

I have a branch office in the UK which is currently connected to us here in
the US via Frame-relay. To save our company money, I am planning on moving
them to DSL, but for some reason BT will not give my branch office the DSL
modem I require. I would like a DSL modem that has an RJ45 NIC, yet they
seem to insist on giving us a USB DSL router. Does anyone there use a DSL
modem with an RJ45 port that you would recommend? Please send me the
make/model #.

Sorry tried to reply off list but the mail was bounced.
The connection speed might make a difference but assuming 1meg / 500k / 256k ish try looking at
the netgeaer dg834.
It's a combined adsl modem and 4 port switch router.
I use one at home on my samll netwrok
BT will be the local loop provider but you can use other providers.
Have a look at Nildram I know a few people who us them.
In fact I'm thinking of moveing from BT to them myself.
Regards Roger

Yes I would recomend Nildram or Zen.. Zen offer an static IP as standard which is nice.. :)
