I desperately need a wlan adapter that will work in my Laptop. I have Fedora Core 1 install, and it seems to be better with wlan, but I have still found a card that it's relatively easy to install. I have tried Linksys Instant Wireless ver.3, and Netgear MA401. Netgear just doesn't do a damn thing for me. However, Linksys Instant Wireless ver.3 (WPC11) does get powered by the computer, and the socket recognizes the card. However, the ifconfig will not recognize the adapter. So, I have decided to stop playing around. I don't care how much it'll cost me, I need a wireless adapter that will work. I am open to suggestions. -G -- ______________________________________________ Check out the latest SMS services @ http://www.linuxmail.org This allows you to send and receive SMS through your mailbox.
