Maybe the file you're looking for is called "kernel-smp-module-alsa"
I built my own from the SRPM
wget -c http://ayo.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/1/i386/freshrpms/SRPMS/alsa-driver-1.0.2c-1.fr.src.rpm
rpm -Uvh alsa-driver-1.0.2c-1.fr.src.rpm
Then Edited %configure in the alsa-driver.spec file for _my_ card --with-cards=intel8x0
rpmbuild -ba --target i686 --define '2.4.22-1.2174.nptlsmp' alsa-driver.spec
then i installed rpm -Uvh kernel-smp-module-alsa-1.0.2c-1.fr_2.4.22_1.2174.nptl.i686.rpm
everything works great.
