Still no sound. > > Thanks, Mike > > > -- > fedora-list mailing list > fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe: http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Maybe the file you're looking for is called "kernel-smp-module-alsa" I built my own from the SRPM wget -c http://ayo.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/1/i386/freshrpms/SRPMS/alsa-driver-1.0.2c-1.fr.src.rpm rpm -Uvh alsa-driver-1.0.2c-1.fr.src.rpm Then Edited %configure in the alsa-driver.spec file for _my_ card --with-cards=intel8x0 rpmbuild -ba --target i686 --define '2.4.22-1.2174.nptlsmp' alsa-driver.spec then i installed rpm -Uvh kernel-smp-module-alsa-1.0.2c-1.fr_2.4.22_1.2174.nptl.i686.rpm everything works great.
