I installed KDE 3.2 from the kde-redhat.sourceforge.net repository and they have the same issue, ALSA is not an option on the Hardware tab. I went ahead and installed ALSA and set it up, it seems to work great in Gnome, but still overloads the cpu in KDE 3.2. -----Original Message----- From: fedora-list-admin@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:fedora-list-admin@xxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Stefan Hoelldampf Sent: Wednesday, February 18, 2004 4:29 AM To: fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: How to get KDE 3.2 for FC1 that recognizes ALSA? Have a look at http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net/ They have KDE-3.2 packages, but they are still in the testing repository.
