This has nothing to do with the kernel or even DNS configuration.  It
means that you (or someone using your nameserver for recursive
resolution) is using a relays.monkeys.org DNSBL somewhere in your mail
configuration.  The lists there were shut down, but a lot of queries
were still being made, so the DNS was changed to point queries to
244.254.254.254.  That is a bad address, so named logs it.
