You need a full development environment (gcc, etc). You'll also need to install tcl-devel and tk-devel. Quick summary: $ tar xzf CJLZ65LE-CUPS-1.0-1.TAR.GZ -C /tmp $ su - # cd /tmp/CJLZ65LE-CUPS-1.0-1 # yum install tcl-devel tk-devel # ./lexmarkz65-CUPS-1.0-1.gz.sh At that point the installer appears to be working correctly. It informs me that I have no z65 printer attached. With luck someone who does have a z65 attached will be able to continue. (Personally, I would consider smashing the printer into tiny pieces, mailing the pieces to Lexmark one by one, and buying a cheap HP printer. However I understand that's not feasible in many cases...) -- David Norris http://www.webaugur.com/dave/ ICQ - 412039
